Bryanston is known as one of the most affluent suburbs in the Gauteng region.  It covers a wide area and sits adjacent to Sandton, which offers world-class shopping and hotel facilities. 

The suburb is traditionally a residential area but has slowly become more commercial over the years and is now home to many large companies including Nestle and Microsoft.  Its access to highways and close proximity to Sandton have seen the development of many upmarket business parks.

In many cases large stands have been subdivided into smaller high-value cluster and townhouse developments.  Bryanston also includes a host of good schools, both private and government and it offers various medical centres, plus the Sandton Mediclinic.

The Johannesburg Country Club sits at the heart of the suburb, an ever-popular centre for keen golfers and family get-togethers.  The area offers a wide variety of shopping centres and restaurants, catering for every taste imaginable.
